okay i did some analysis.  also spoke to some close friends who are from security domain.  here are my thoughts and views (purely my own individual take):

1.  Facebook and Whatsapp were always using US based servers.  all security regulations come under their jurisdiction and law.  so keep the latest agreement aside, even otherwise our data all these days were in their custody.    In otherwords, there is nothing that they do not know about us 😊

2.  By signing off, you are only getting to a new agreement about the specific partnership of Whatsapp and FB, which they had anyway planning to do for a longtime.   This is NO influence on losing our privacy.... the fear is created by media and hyped.  Put in another way, by signing this new agreement, you are not going to share anything more than what they can tap today without signing it.  This is more for a reinforcement of buyin from their side, so they do 't lose the market to competetive apps like Signal or Telegram which is picking pace.

3.  SIGNAL is an american company.  TELEGRAM is a German company first developed by Russia.  Both these companies have their own security regulations on their own homegrown servers...coming under their law.  So going to them is NOT going to decrease your vulnerability of risk or loss of privacy in anyway.  The hard truth is - India never attempted to create their own private secured social media channels and always depended on foreign channels.... 

so we are not going to save anything by going to SIGNAL or TELEGRAM; rather we are going expose our data more by sharing it with new set of countries and security protocols.   

4.  Lastly, regardless of whether we move to SIGNAL or TELEGRAM or continue to stay, make sure you follow this:  never use your confidential data or financial data in whatsapp, facebook, google, telegram signal etc.  The safest bet for you to use financial transactions is UPI based apps which are homegrown like BHIM, phone pe etc as the data does not go outside our country security regulation... we own those servers.   so long this is taken care all is well.

It is located in the Sogn Region, in Norway, on the E-16 route between Oslo and Bergen (Personally for me one of the most beautiful cities and surroundings in Europe). It is incredible that it considers aspects such as the mental stress of the drivers who circulate through it since it changes the lighting and the section several times to rest the vision and fatigue As is to be expected, security inside is another important aspect as in any tunnel of these characteristics, having SOS posts, extractors, Security Galleries to protect those who pass through it in case of emergency.
Also, as in all projects of this type, the environmental impact is very low, generating much less destruction of soil than if we joined the same section from the outside, in addition the air is filtered and renewed on the inside continuously.
This is a series that I intend to start on the most impressive projects in Europe.
[22/01, 14:36] +91 97718 40500: Moments ago, Larsen & Toubro emerged as the lowest bidder to construct the 7.945 km elevated Package C4-ECV-02 from Porur Junction to Poonamallee Bypass of Chennai Metro’s new 26.09 km Line-4, after officials from Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. (CMRL) opened financial bids.
This is the second elevated package of Line-4 (Light House – Poonamallee Bypass) of the upcoming 118.9 km Chennai Metro Phase 2 project where financial bids have been opened. Besides a viaduct, it consists of 9 stations and a depot-line to a train maintenance depot at Poonamallee.
Back in December 2020, L&T was also the lowest bidder for the first package (C4-ECV-01) between Power House to Porur Junction.
CMRL had invited tenders for Package C4-ECV-02’s construction in August 2020 with a completion deadline of 36 months (3 years). Technical bids were opened in November to reveal 3 bidders.

This section of the Line-4 will be partly financed by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) through a $356.65 million (approx. Rs. 2700 crore) loan. The loan’s concept review was approved on December 13, 2019, and a formal appraisal decision is currently pending.
